Very Nice Antique Victorian 1900 Solid Silver Carved Chinese Mother Of Pearl Sbuff Box

All items which are sold have been previously used and will show slight age related wear. Some items may require a light clean. The fine antique late Victorian solid silver box is in very good condition for its age. The box has a wonderful Chinese carved mother of pearl panel inserted into the top. The carving is very nice. The box opens and closes fine, some slight age wear with a small gap. The box has some scratching which is quite typical. The inside of the box is relatively clean with a silver gilt finish. Very unusual snuff box.



Weight:- The item is approx 53.2 grams. 



Hallmarks:- The item has the passant for silver. Chester assay and date letter for 1900. The makers marks are slightly rubbed but can be made out for M Friedlander & Co.



Measurements:- The item is approx. 6.8cm long x 2.8cm x 2.1cm high.
