A Very Nice Heavy Antique Early Victorian C1842 Solid Silver Snuff Box CR & WS

All items which are sold have been previously used and will show slight age related wear. Some items may require a light clean. The heavy early Victorian silver snuff box is in decent condition. The box has no splits, dents or repairs. The pattern is slightly worn in areas where it has been handled and used over the years. The lid opens and closes nicely, good silver gilt finish to the inside and great hallmarks. Slightly oversized and a great addition to a collection.


Weight:- The item is approx 94.5 grams. 


Hallmarks:- The item has the passant for silver. Leopards head for London assay and date letter for 1842. Victoria duty stamp. The makers marks are for Charles Rawlings & William Summers.


Measurements:- The item is approx. 7.8cm x 4.3cm deep x 2cm high.
