A Very Nice Antique Georgian 18ct Gold Closed Back Pear Shaped Garnet Ring 
All items have been previously used and will show slight age related wear. Some items may require a light clean. The item is in really good condition for its age. The 18ct gold ring shank is nicely engraved, The setting which the closed back garnet sits in, is made of silver which is very common for its age. The garnet's colour is hard to capture with a picture but the stone shows lots of lighter patches when its moved around in natural light. Excellent antique ring and hard to find!
Weight:- The item is approx. 2.9 grams.
Hallmarks:- The item is unmarked but tests as 18ct gold and silver stone setting. 
Measurements:- The ring size is U.K J 1/2 (US size 5 1/4). The base of the ring shank is 2mm wide. The stone setting is approx. 1.3cm x 1.1cm wide. The garnet is 9mm x 7mm wide. The ring sits approx. 4.5mm high from the finger.
