A Splendid Antique C1925 Solid Silver Embossed Hannau Tea Caddy Box Adolph Davis

All items which are sold have been previously used and will show slight age related wear. Some items may require a light clean. The heavily embossed antique European tea caddy is in decent condition for its age. The box is made with a thick gauge of solid silver with two different scenes to the front and back. One of the side panels has a small hole, one of the corners is slightly curved and a very tiny split which is basically invisible (i am being very picky). The base has a small crease, this as happened as the base slides out which is rather nice! A well decorated box and most are usually full of holes. Nicely hallmarked.


Weight:- The item is approx 98.6 grams. 


Hallmarks:- The item is has London assay import marks which date to 1925. The makers marks are Adolph Barsach Davis.


Measurements:- The item is approx. 10.8cm x 6.9cm x 4.8cm deep.
